Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical/Surgical Tele RN for a fast-paced admission unit that accommodates general medical and surgical patients awaiting procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a 10-bed admission unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Ensure effective communication with patients and their families.
• Manage a patient load of up to 5 patients per RN.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical/surgical specialty.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Active RN license; Nursys license verification required.
• Resume and skills checklist must detail relevant experience and qualifications without gaps greater than 60 days.
• References and certification cards must be provided.
