Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with 36 hours scheduled and 24 hours guaranteed weekly. Floating between campuses is required.

Job Description

The role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit. Nurses are expected to work collaboratively with the healthcare team and participate in patient assessments and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support in a Progressive Care Unit.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care and treatment plans.
• Document patient care accurately in accordance with facility policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of recent PCU experience.
• Active RN license with no hits in the state of practice.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS from approved vendors.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
