Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with ICU experience to join our dynamic Medical Intensive Care Unit. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients with critical conditions. This position requires a commitment to providing comprehensive care while working collaboratively with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
• Monitor and manage patient conditions using advanced medical technologies
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders
• Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and documentation
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Respond to emergencies and assist in resuscitation efforts when necessary

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience required, with ICU experience strongly preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Must be willing to respond to call within 30 minutes
• Ability to float to Medical Surgical and Telemetry units as needed
