Registered Nurse - Night Shift (Telemetry) EOW Floating

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), every other weekend floating required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will manage patient care for adult and geriatric patients with a focus on telemetry and general medical/surgical cases. The nurse will perform nursing assessments, coordinate care, administer medications, and ensure adherence to protocols.

Responsibilities

• Providing nursing care to 6-7 patients per shift.
• Managing telemetry and monitoring patients' vital signs.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Performing patient assessments and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams.
• Utilizing skills such as IV management, blood product administration, and care of chest tubes.
• Implementing isolation precautions and managing infection control.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active nursing license (PA/compact) with a minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS required.
• Telemetry experience is necessary; charting system experience with Cerner is preferred.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
