Surgical RN - Operating Room

Schedule

This position requires variable shifts, operating from Monday through Friday between 0645 and 2315. Expect 40 hours of work per week, with potential adjustments during holidays. Call coverage is necessary, averaging 1-2 times a week plus up to 2 weekends a month. It's essential to be within a 30-minute radius of the hospital for on-call purposes.

Job Description

The Surgical RN will be responsible for circulating a variety of surgical cases including General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, and Gynecology. Key duties also include helping with turnover cleaning, transporting patients as needed, and scheduling cases.

Responsibilities

• Independently circulate surgical cases across various specialties.
• Assist with turnover cleaning in the operating room.
• Transport patients when required.
• Manage and schedule surgical cases.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience circulating in a hospital setting.
• Ability to scrub surgical cases is preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• State of Hawaii RN license.
