Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Variable shifts, operating from Monday through Friday from 0645 to 2315. Shifts may vary based on department needs and will include on-call assignments, averaging 1-2 times per week and up to 2 weekends per month.

Job Description

As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for circulating cases, assisting with turnover cleaning, transporting patients as needed, and scheduling surgical procedures. You will independently circulate a variety of procedures, including General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, and Gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Circulate surgical cases efficiently and competently.
• Assist with cleaning and preparing the Operating Room.
• Transport patients to and from surgical areas.
• Schedule surgical procedures accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 to 3 years of experience circulating cases in a hospital setting.
• BLS certification required.
• State of Hawaii RN license required for this position.
• Ability to scrub cases is preferred.
