Registered Nurse - Med/Tele Complex Care

Schedule

This position requires working night shifts, specifically from 7 PM to 7 AM. Full-time options include 36 and 48 hours per week with at least one weekend shift required weekly or two weekend shifts every other weekend. Must be available to work at least one holiday during the contract period.

This is a 16-week contract position.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care to patients in the Med/Tele Complex Care Unit with a total of 37 beds. This role requires adaptability to the needs of the facility's schedule, including potential floating to other units and working in a charge role if necessary. Training will be provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a Med/Tele setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC for patient charting and documentation.
• Assist in patient assessments and develop care plans accordingly.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and families.

Required Experience and Certifications

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
