Registered Nurse - Inpatient Rehabilitation

This position requires a shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM with mandatory weekend and holiday rotations.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Med-Surg or inpatient rehabilitation, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care to individuals recovering from strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries. Our mission is to support patients in achieving their highest level of recovery while preparing them for a successful return home.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to high-acuity patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient progress regularly.
• Assist Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.As) and respond to call lights for enhanced patient safety.
• Utilize mobility equipment and EHR for documentation and patient management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a skilled nursing or other 24/7 skilled care environment.
• Preferred experience in Med-Surg or inpatient rehabilitation.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
