• Scheduling options include: 7a-7p, 11a-11p, 3p-3a, and 7p-7a
• Must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a diverse patient population, ranging from newborns to geriatrics. The role requires charge experience and the ability to precept new nurses when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Perform ESI triage scale and IV insertion
• Administer drips and infusions as needed
• Conduct EKGs and restraint application
• Facilitate procedural sedation and patient transports
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an Emergency Department setting
• At least one completed travel contract is required
• Charge experience is preferred
• Certifications required: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, ENPC, NRP, TNCC, NIHSS
• EPIC experience within the past 2 years is non-negotiable
