Registered Nurse - Med/Surg/Tele 12HR Night Shift

Schedule

Night shifts, 12-hour schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM. Opportunities for 36 and 48 hours per week are available, with a requirement of one weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend. Candidates must also be available to work at least one holiday during the contract period.

Job Description

This position is for a Registered Nurse on the West 6 Med/Tele unit, which consists of 40 beds. The unit requires flexibility according to the facility's needs, including floating to other units and performing charge nurse duties as needed. Candidates may be requested to block book, but this is not guaranteed.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in acute medical surgical/telemetry nursing.
• For non-U.S. candidates, a minimum of 2 years of U.S. work experience is required.

Required Certifications/Licensure

• Active New York RN license.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.
