Registered Nurse - Med/Surg/Tele - Nights

Schedule

Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A / 7A-7P rotation with options for 36 or 48 hours available per week. Requires working 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend, along with at least 1 holiday per contract.

Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg/Tele unit with a capacity of 40 beds. This position requires flexibility to adapt to the facility’s needs, including the potential for block booking and floating to other units. Charge duties may also be required, with training provided as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a Med/Surg/Tele environment.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with prescribed protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute med/surg/tele nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active NY RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
