Registered Nurse - Cardiac Med/Tele

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A. 36 and 48 hours per week available. Candidates must work 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Holiday work is also required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Med/Tele team. The unit consists of 43 beds, and nurses will be expected to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in an acute cardiac medical/surgical environment.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document care and patient progress in the EPIC charting system.
• Flexibility to float to other units as needed and work in a charge role after training.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of recent experience in acute med/surg/tele nursing.
• Active New York RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
• For non-U.S. candidates: 2 years of U.S. work experience is required.
