Schedule

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Full-time, 3 shifts per week, rotating weekends and holidays required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide expert care in the Labor and Delivery unit, attending to active labors, inductions, and C-sections while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of both mother and newborn.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients during labor and delivery.
• Perform fetal monitoring and manage inductions using medications such as Pitocin and Cervidil.
• Handle OB emergencies, including shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage.
• Assist with procedures such as C-sections and circumcisions.
• Provide couplet care for newborns and support stable NICU patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• BLS and NRP certifications required.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery, including assessment and transition of newborns.
• Fetal monitoring training and relevant skills in handling labor emergencies preferred.
