Contract Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule

Full-time, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Labor and Delivery unit. This role involves providing exceptional care to expectant mothers and supporting the labor and delivery process in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in labor and delivery.
• Monitor patients' conditions, performing assessments and interventions as necessary.
• Assist in various procedures including C-sections, SVD, D&C, and D&E.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Utilize advanced equipment including Alaris and CADD pumps.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have an active RN license.
• Current certifications in AWHONN Intermediate EFM and Advanced EFM.
• At least 3 years of experience in High Risk OB.
• Candidates must possess CST certification and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Labor and Delivery setting.
• Experience with massive transfusion protocols is preferred.
