This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift 4x10-Hour schedule (07:00 - 17:30). Weekend coverage varies depending on staffing, with the possibility of every 3-4 weekends.

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology RN will be responsible for providing patient care during various interventional radiology procedures. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with CT guided biopsies, fistulograms, GJ-tube placements, and lower extremity angiograms.
• Monitor patients during nuclear medicine/stress tests, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and Y90 procedures.
• Provide procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Participate in post-procedure care and documentation using EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably 3-5 years.
• ICU experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Valid state RN license; compact license preferred.
