Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift - Rehabilitation

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:00). Weekends are required based on facility needs, every other weekend.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients within a rehabilitation setting. The position requires proficiency in various skills related to Med/Surg and CNS (Cerebrovascular Accident) re-evaluation, ensuring the delivery of quality patient care and adherence to safety protocols. This role may require floating between units based on staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitor patient conditions.
• Assist in pre/post neurosurgery procedures.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and PPE protocols.
• Participate in rapid response and code team scenarios as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably in a Med/Surg or Rehabilitation setting.
• Current RN license (Compact license required at time of submission).
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
