Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule from 19:00 to 07:00. Every other weekend is required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care during the night shift. The RN will work in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for managing patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support to patients experiencing strokes and other medical-surgical conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Monitor and manage patients’ conditions, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Support patients and their families, providing education and resources to enhance recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• BLS and NIHSS certification required.
• Experience with the EPIC charting system is necessary.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
