Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is an 8-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with alternating weekends. A 3/2 split schedule, meaning 4 shifts one week and 3 the next, with overtime after 48 hours.

Job Description

The Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting. Responsibilities will include patient assessment, developing care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and provide necessary care.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records.
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility.
• Minimum of **X** years of Med Surg nursing experience preferred.
