Travel Med Surg RN

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Travel Med Surg RN to join our team. This position requires a strong nursing background and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a Cerner electronic medical record system and hold a valid nursing license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and timely.

Schedule

This is a night shift position, working from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including alternating weekends.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience.
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system.
• Must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility.
