MRI Technologist - Mobile MRI Unit

This is a part-time position requiring 2 - 12 hour shifts per week scheduled between Monday and Friday from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.

Job Description

Join a cutting-edge Mobile MRI unit supporting the Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute. The ideal candidate will assist with the setup and operation of a new MRI service beginning January 2026. Responsibilities include performing various MRI scans, managing patient communication, and working independently within the department.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MRI imaging procedures, including brain, spine, MRA, body, and musculoskeletal scans.
• Effectively communicate with physicians and provide updates on patient status.
• Perform patient preparation, positioning, and monitor comfort during imaging procedures.
• Manage and operate the MRI machine, ensuring proper functionality and patient safety.
• Start IVs when necessary for contrast administration.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS (AHA) certification.
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification with a West Virginia MRI license.
• Experience as a MRI Technologist with the ability to work independently.
