Radiation Therapist Position

8-hour days, with weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators and utilizing the Varian ARIA Oncology Information System. The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, managing an average patient load of 25 patients per machine per day.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients, adhering to protocol and safety standards.
• Utilize advanced techniques such as IMRT, IGRT, SRS, and SBRT in treatment delivery.
• Collaborate with the oncology team to develop treatment plans and ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS Certification
• ARRT registered Radiation Therapist
• WV state license required
• Proven experience with Varian equipment and managing a diverse patient population, including minimal pediatric cases.
