Surgical PCU Registered Nurse

Schedule

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Shift: 7a - 7:30p, 36 hours scheduled with 24 hours guaranteed.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Surgical PCU Registered Nurse. Candidates must be experienced, flexible with locations, shifts, and departments, and prepared to work weekends and holidays according to department guidelines. Navy scrubs will be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Surgical Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• Monitor patient recovery and administer medications as needed.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience with at least 12 months of recent experience.
• Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• No hits on state license required to practice.
• Valid driver's license to verify residency.
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications from approved vendors.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
