CT Technologist

Day shift: 5x8 hours (09:00 AM - 05:30 PM)

Job Description

The CT Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures on patients to assist in the assessment and diagnosis of medical conditions. The position requires recent, hands-on experience in CT, compliance with facility requirements, and a commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CT scans and ensure quality imaging results.
• Administer contrast media as required and maintain patient safety.
• Prepare patients for examinations, providing clear instructions and support.
• Maintain accurate patient records and perform necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals on patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of recent CT experience.
• Active New York State license required.
• BLS Certification required.
• ARRT certification in CT preferred but not mandatory.
• Injection certification needed for performing contrast CT exams.
