Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation

Schedule

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)

Job Description

Join our rehabilitation hospital dedicated to assisting patients recovering from significant medical events or illnesses. This position involves providing comprehensive, multidisciplinary care to individuals recovering from strokes, orthopedic surgeries, debilitating conditions, and brain injuries. Our goal is to help patients regain their highest level of independence and functionality through collaborative interdisciplinary care plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
• Support patients in regaining independence through rehabilitation techniques.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and therapists.
• Administer medications and provide necessary medical treatments.
• Involve family in education and support throughout the recovery journey.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Years of experience preferred: 2
• Travel experience preferred.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS.
• Patient ratios experience: 1:7.
• Charting System Experience: Required (Epic).
• Preferred experience in long-term acute care settings.
