Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool RN

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 36 hours per week. Every other weekend and holiday rotation required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Critical Care RN to join our float pool. The ideal candidate will provide care across various Pediatric units including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU. This position is a floating role, requiring versatility and a broad skill set to meet the needs of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication and monitor patient conditions.
• Provide care to critically ill pediatric patients.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and treatment planning.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and best practices.
• Perform specialized procedures as needed, including ECMO and CRRT.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience required.
• BLS and PALS certifications required (must be from American Heart Association).
• Active South Carolina RN license or a multi-state/compact RN license.
• Experience with ECMO and CRRT is preferred.
• Ability to float to all Pediatric units based on facility needs.
