Surgical Instrument Technician

Schedule

This is a night shift position from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a schedule of Monday to Friday and rotating weekends every third weekend.

Job Description

The Surgical Instrument Technician is responsible for the preparation, care, sterilization, and transportation of medical and surgical instruments, packs, supplies, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medical and surgical instruments for use in procedures.
• Manage the sterilization process and ensure equipment is clean and safe for patient care.
• Transport instruments and supplies to different areas as needed.
• Maintain inventory of surgical instruments and supplies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 3 years of experience required. A High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. Certification as a Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or equivalent is also required.
