Nuclear Medicine Technologist

4x10-Hour schedule, from 07:30 AM to 06:00 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist with expertise in performing high-volume nuclear stress tests, Hida scans, VQ scans, biliary studies, lymph injections, and amyloid studies. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in managing both outpatient and inpatient procedures, utilizing GE equipment including SPEC CTG850.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nuclear stress tests and ensure high scan load management.
• Administer diagnostic procedures including Hida scans and VQ scans.
• Perform lymph injections and biliary studies.
• Execute ameloid studies with precision and care.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to isolation precautions and handling radioactive materials.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active ARRT Nuclear Medicine (ARRT N) and Radiography (ARRT R) certifications.
• BLS certification and NMTCB certification required.
• Current state license as required for the position.
• Preferred 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.

Floating and Call Requirements

• Floating required within the specialty and sister facilities.
• On-call duty required weekdays from 4 PM to 10 PM, and weekends every other week, either Saturday or Sunday.
