Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) - 13-Week Contract Position

Schedule

5x8 Day shift, Monday to Friday, from 07:30 AM to 04:00 PM.

Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) will be responsible for performing high-volume nuclear stress tests, HIDA scans, VQ scans, biliary studies, lymph injections, and amyloid studies. The technologist should be skilled in using GE equipment, specifically the SPEC CTG850, and will be required to handle radioactive materials while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nuclear medicine procedures and ensure quality control of imaging.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and manage patient safety protocols.
• Assist with scheduling and managing high scan load for outpatient and inpatient services.
• Participate in weekend on-call coverage and weekday on-call rotations as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
• Certifications: ARRT N, ARRT R, BLS, NMTCB, and relevant state license required.
• Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred.
• Charge experience is preferred but not mandatory.
