Shift: 06:30 - 19:00, Every other weekend and holiday rotations required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality inpatient rehabilitation care. This role requires a focus on maximizing the health, function, and quality of life of patients who have experienced strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions necessitating rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients' conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications and perform necessary nursing procedures.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team, including therapists and CNAs.
• Ensure patient safety by responding to call lights and assisting with activities of daily living.
• Participate in care planning and implementation to promote patient recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a skilled nursing or 24/7 skilled care environment.
• Preferred experience in Med Surg or inpatient rehabilitation.
• Current BLS certification required.
• MUST have a minimum of 13 weeks of Epic experience.
