This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

40 hours per week, Monday through Friday with two weekend day shifts as required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist for an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU). The candidate will be responsible for evaluating and developing treatment plans for patients, implementing therapy interventions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Provide therapy interventions to improve patients' mobility, strength, and functionality.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Preferred experience in Acute Rehabilitation settings; will consider SNF and acute inpatient experience.
