Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Telemetry

Night shift, 3-12 hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Job Description

This position entails providing nursing care in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit, ensuring the delivery of optimum patient care and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and be able to effectively monitor and manage a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care and maintain patient safety in a telemetry setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
• Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment in patient management.
• Administer medications and treatment as per established protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry nursing.
• Active RN license in Ohio or a compact state in hand at the time of submission.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Preferred: NIHHS certification.
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty.
