Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients. This role focuses on both pediatric and adult patients, ensuring effective respiratory therapies and interventions in a critical care setting. The therapist will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans, monitor patient responses, and adjust therapies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions.
• Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to design and implement patient-centered care plans.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and treatments.
• Document patient progress and treatment responses accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have an active New Jersey Respiratory Therapist License.
• 2+ years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Pediatric experience is required.
• COVID Vaccination: Must be fully vaccinated with one booster.
