RN - NICU (Backfill Contract Position)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts are scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with on-call requirements. Additionally, candidates should be available for 4 weekend shifts throughout their schedule.

Job Description

The RN in the NICU will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to critically ill neonates. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neonatal care and possess the skills necessary to respond effectively to the challenges of a Level 4 NICU environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Monitor and assess the condition of neonates, making necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide education and support to families of patients in care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience is required.
• Experience in a Level 4 NICU is preferred.
• Current RN license in good standing.
