Staff Registered Nurse - Nights

Job Description

The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and supervising individual patient care using the nursing process. The RN accepts responsibility for the direction of co-workers and delegation of role-appropriate tasks in implementing care. This position requires adherence to established policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for each patient according to the nursing process.
• Provide patient education from admission through the discharge process.
• Document the nursing process/pathway accurately and legibly.
• Notify the physician of pertinent observations and changes in patient status.
• Administer medications and perform treatments safely and accurately.
• Assure all equipment and supplies are ready for patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Associate degree in nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid RN license to practice in the state of Ohio.
• Current CPR certification.
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certificate required.
• Previous registered nursing experience preferred.

Schedule

This is a night shift position, ensuring 24/7 patient care coverage.
