Surgical Technologist - Night Shift

Schedule

This position consists of three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating between days, evenings, and nights. Call and weekend work is required, with a response time of 30 minutes. In-house call rooms are available for staff when needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting, be proficient in scrubbing all surgical cases, and have a strong background in various specialties including General, Orthopedic, Neuro, Vascular, Trauma, Robotics, and Transplant.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical operations by preparing and managing surgical instruments and equipment.
• Scrub in for surgeries across various specialties as needed.
• Maintain a sterile environment and assist the surgical team during operations.
• Ensure all required instruments are available and in working order before procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certification from NBSTSA or NCCT is mandatory; no other certifications will be accepted.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room in the last 3 years is required; 3 years preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in a Level 1 Trauma environment.
• A minimum of 1 year of travel experience within the last 3 years is required.
