Adolescent Mental Health Nursing Position

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Evening shifts available, 8 hours per shift, with 32-40 hours per week, including every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated mental health nurse with experience in providing care for adolescent patients in an acute inpatient hospital setting. This position focuses on treating young individuals facing mental health and behavioral disorders, including substance abuse and addictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and effective nursing care to adolescent patients.
• Assist with the assessment and evaluation of patient conditions.
• Implement and monitor treatment plans under the guidance of the healthcare team.
• Conduct regular checks on the well-being of patients, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Educate patients and families about mental health and treatment options.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in nursing, with a focus on child and adolescent units preferred.
• Valid nursing licensure as required by state regulations.
