CT Scan Technologist - Pediatrics

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Will work Monday-Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Thursday from 7:00 AM to 8:30 PM.

Job Description

The CT Scan Technologist will be responsible for performing imaging procedures on pediatric patients while ensuring high-quality diagnostic images. The role includes working independently on a daily basis and having expertise with Siemens equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures for pediatric cases including routine studies, outpatients, and interventional radiology procedures.
• Administer contrast media as needed and prepare patients for examinations.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, including proper equipment handling and patient care.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for each procedure.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience preferred.
• ARRT RT (R) (CT) certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience with Siemens equipment is essential.
• Prior experience in a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center is preferred.
• Active South Carolina license is required at the time of start.
