Multimodality Technologist (X-Ray & CT)

Schedule

The schedule consists of Friday through Sunday with 2 days and 1 night shift. The shifts are as follows:

• Friday: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• Sunday: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (on-call rotation)

Job Description

The Multimodality Technologist is responsible for performing CT scans and radiographic exams while producing diagnostic images of designated anatomical areas. The technologist will obtain patient histories, explain routine procedures, and address any patient concerns per established practices and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Performing CT scans and radiographic exams.
• Producing digital images according to protocols.
• Gathering patient history and addressing patient inquiries.
• Following safety and operational protocols for imaging equipment.
• Participating in on-call rotation responsibilities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist or in Computed Tomography.
• ARRT (R) (CT), SCRQSA (R) (CT), CPR, and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of radiological technology with appropriate licensure by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association.
• Must possess a radiation badge provided by the agency.
