Job Description

We are seeking a Certified Surgical Tech with experience in a labor and delivery setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in various procedures including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&E, D&C, tubal ligation, vaginal repair, and hysterectomy.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs and surgical team during labor and delivery procedures.
• Maintain sterile environments and ensure proper functionality of equipment.
• Document patient information and procedures in the GE documentation system (EPIC).
• Support patient care activities and collaborate with medical staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certified Surgical Tech certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Experience in a labor and delivery unit is essential.
