Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the General Surgery department, you will provide optimal patient care using your nursing knowledge and skills throughout the entire episode of care. This role is crucial in ensuring individualized patient outcomes and involves comprehensive nursing services for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including their families and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for a diverse population.
• Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
• Engage with family members in the assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation processes.
• Demonstrate cognitive and psychosocial needs specific to the patient population.
• Provide safe, effective care through intensive mental effort and critical decision-making.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a valid NV State RN license prior to start.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Trauma OR setting.
• Completion of CMP (Clinical Mentorship Program) within 1 year of start date.
