Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Telemetry department plays a crucial role in providing optimal patient care through clinical excellence and exceptional customer service. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a diverse patient population including adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess and interpret patient conditions and nursing needs.
• Plan and implement patient care strategies to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Evaluate patient responses to treatments and adjust plans as necessary.
• Provide comprehensive care for patients with conditions like CHF, sepsis, dysrhythmias, and post-procedural care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain knowledge of clinical competencies and perform telemetry competency exams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required.
• Nevada RN license required prior to start.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
