Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including weekends.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients, including adults, geriatrics, and pediatric populations. The ideal candidate must have experience in neonatal and pediatric respiratory therapy. The role requires strong collaboration with a dedicated healthcare team to deliver seamless care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures according to established protocols.
• Monitor and assess patients to evaluate respiratory status and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory care and safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• MUST have Iowa SING background check clearance (Criminal and Child Abuse required).
• Mandatory reporter certification for Child and Adult.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are required.
• 10-panel drug screening including opiates.
