Friday to Sunday, weekend graves shift from 1800 to 0630.

Job Description

The CT Scan Technologist is responsible for producing diagnostic CT scans, assisting the radiologist in procedures, and ensuring optimal patient care. Under the supervision of the CT Supervisor, the individual will coordinate daily workflow, assist in patient throughput, and ensure compliance with quality control standards while adhering to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic CT scans for various patient populations.
• Administer IV contrast materials under radiologist supervision.
• Maintain current CPR certification and complete mandatory in-services.
• Coordinate the workflow of ER, in-patients, and outpatients effectively.
• Monitor QC procedures and uphold imaging standards as outlined by department policies.
• Stay current with advancements in CT imaging technology and best practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Applicable licensure: American Registry of Radiological Technologists ARRT(R) and AART(CT).
• State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in CT imaging, with trauma experience preferred.
• AHA BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
