Outpatient Physical Therapist

Schedule

Shift: 07:00 - 16:00 or 08:00 - 17:00
Weekend shifts are required.

Job Description

Physical therapists (PTs) are licensed health care professionals who help patients reduce pain and improve or restore mobility. PTs examine each individual and develop a tailored plan, using treatment techniques to promote mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. They also work to prevent the loss of mobility by developing fitness- and wellness-oriented programs.

PTs provide care for patients in various settings, including outpatient clinics, hospitals, private practices, and more. The outpatient physical therapist will see approximately 9-11 patients daily and work collaboratively with a dedicated team.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement treatment techniques to promote mobility and function
• Educate patients on preventing and managing their condition
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Physical Therapist license in Arizona
• Experience in outpatient settings preferred
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically ReDoc and MedHost
