Ultrasound Technologist

Job Description

The Diagnostic Imaging teams deliver state-of-the-art imaging services, including X-Ray, CT Scan, MRI, and Ultrasound. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will utilize advanced ultrasound technology to assist in diagnosing and treating patients across various specialties.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures on patients while ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide accurate diagnostic imaging that aids in patient care.
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment and ensure it remains in working order.
• Provide quality patient care by confirming procedures prior to performing the studies.
• Document all procedures and results in the patient's medical records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARDMS credentials (or equivalent) in Abdomen and OB/GYN specialties required.
• Current unencumbered Oregon license in Sonography required.
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Schedule

This position operates on a Days/varied schedule with requirements to work every weekend.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
