Supervisor/Charge Nurse - Med Surg and ER

Schedule

This position requires 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, totaling 36 hours a week. A block scheduling of 6 on and 8 off is preferred.

Job Description

The Supervisor/Charge Nurse will act as a working supervisor in both the Med Surg and ER departments. The role entails overseeing patient care, managing nursing staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct nursing staff within Med Surg and ER.
• Coordinate patient care to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Provide hands-on nursing care when needed.
• Facilitate communication between healthcare teams.
• Assist in training and mentoring nursing staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Experience in Med Surg and ER nursing preferred.
• Education and training related to OB/Newborn Stabilization is highly valuable; please submit documentation if applicable.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
