OB Registered Nurse - Nights

This position requires night shifts and includes working every third weekend.

Job Description

The OB Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing care in labor & delivery, postpartum, and recovery settings. Nurses in this role are expected to float to the medical-surgical floor in the absence of obstetric patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the labor & delivery, postpartum, and recovery units.
• Float to the med-surg floor as needed when there are no obstetric patients.
• Monitor and assess patients' health status during labor and delivery.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on post-delivery care and recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in obstetrics nursing is preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and advanced obstetric certifications are a plus.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
