Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit

Schedule

4 10-hour shifts, with on-call as required. No block scheduling requests will be accommodated.

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit team. As an RN, you will assess patients to determine their mental, physical, and spiritual needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage conflict will contribute to a healthy workplace environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient needs, developing individual care plans.
• Provide explanations and instructions to patients and their responsible persons.
• Utilize clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient conditions.
• Participate in continuing education to enhance professional development.
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records in adherence to Core Measure responsibilities.

Required Certifications / Licensure

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
• Current CPR/BLS Card
• ACLS certification required for relevant units

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
