Job Description

The Medical Surgical unit specializes in the care of acutely ill adults and those who require surgery, both emergent and elective. Our Medical Surgical patients receive the highest standards of professional care from registered nurses and nurse assistants. Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing is strongly encouraged and supported.

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical unit, you will:

• Provide high-quality patient care for acutely ill adults.
• Monitor telemetry for patients requiring stable cardiac observation.
• Administer medications and perform patient assessments.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required.
• AHA ACLS certification required.
• Recent Epic experience is mandatory.
• Orthopedic and Bariatric nursing experience is preferred.
• Telemetry monitoring experience is required.
