Job Description

The Medical Surgical unit specializes in the care of acutely ill adults and those who require emergent and elective surgery. Registered Nurses provide the highest standards of professional care, supported by nurse assistants. Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing is highly encouraged and promoted.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical setting.
• Follow established protocols for assessing patient needs and implementing care plans.
• Monitor and manage patients under stable cardiac monitoring.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required.
• AHA ACLS certification required.
• Recent experience with Epic required.
• Orthopedic and Bariatric experience preferred.
• Telemetry monitoring experience required.
